Roomscapes Cabinetry & Design Center Wins Three Regional CotY Awards!
The 2019 Contractor of the Year awards, hosted by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI)of Eastern Massachusetts, was held at the Clarke Showroom in Milford, MA on Wednesday, May 1st.
The EM NARI Contractor of the Year (CotY) Awards recognize the work of the region’s finest remodeling professionals. Members compete across 20 categories, and all award entries are anonymously judged by industry professionals. In previous years, Roomscapes’ CotY-award-winning projects have gone on to earn NKBA and PRISM awards as well.
The winning projects include a master bathroom with a California vibe, a dramatic black-and-white themed powder room, and a grand master bath oasis with unobscured river views.
The diverse styles of these projects represent the talent of the Roomscapes’ design team and craftsman who work diligently not only to deliver quality projects, but to create stunning rooms that reflect each client’s unique style.
Gold: Residential Bath $30,000 – $60,000; Designer Lisa Lally
After relocating from California to the Boston ‘burbs, our clients wanted the master bath in their home to have a fresh West Coast vibe, but still be respectful of the New England vernacular. Removing oddly placed partitions in what was a “builder-grade” bath opened up the room, and flooded the space with natural light. With its unexpected combination of pattern and texture, the thoughtfully designed bath is now a light and airy oasis that is neutral, yet anything but boring.
Silver: Residential Bath $30,000 – $60,000; Designer Judy Whalen
What was a rather lackluster space has been transformed into a chic black-and-white powder room that now boasts classic crown molding and an astragal molding pattern to the ceiling. The centerpiece of the space is a custom vanity that was finished on site. Above the vanity, flanking it on three sides, are built-in mirrors that reflect the decorative wall panels. Brass sconces, set into the mirror above a rose-colored, cut-glass sink, bath the space in soft light.
Gold: Residential Bath Over 60K; Designer Judy Whalen
Our complete redesign and remodel of this master bathroom began with raising the floor so that the bath is now level with the bedroom. A wall of new windows provides an unobscured view of the North River just outside. A freestanding tub, positioned in the middle of the room under a chandelier, takes center stage. Set around the perimeter of the room are a built-in vanity for applying makeup while enjoying the breathtaking river view, a spacious walk-in shower, and a dual-sink vanity. Glamorous touches and loads of detail make the new bath a soothing space, perfect to unwind and relax.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OTHER AWARD WINNERS!
