#DesignInspo with Roomscapes

kitchen design tips

Whether you’re just starting to consider a kitchen remodel, in the beginning stages of the design phase, or looking for the perfect finishing touches for your new kitchen (lucky you!), part of the fun of any home renovation project is choosing the accessories.

We used one of our recently completed kitchen projects (center; Dan Cutrona photo) as the starting point of our #DesignInspo board. Soft neutrals and metallics play off of the bold blue island, and warm walnut wood flooring and stools.

1. Amp up the elegance factor at any meal with lux linen napkins from Williams Sonoma. 2. Take your cooking to the next level with Lagostina Martellata copper cookware, also from Williams Sonoma. 3. Add a beachy touch to your kitchen with an elongated glass subway tile backsplash. 4. Sprinkle a space with candles in hurricane lanterns to cast a warm glow over family meals; from Pottery Barn. 5. Something soft underfoot when cooking is a must; indoor/outdoor area rugs from Dash & Albert. 6. These lacquered trays from West Elm are as perfect for “tea for two” as they are dinner parties. 7. Our love of gray, the new neutral, continues; pair it with the right white for absolute perfection: These are Benjamin Moore’s (L to R) Edgecomb Gray, Revere Pewter and Simply White. 8. Clean lines and classic colors make these dishes a timeless choice: CB2’s “Contact” dinner plates (top), and “Bernard” four-piece place setting.
