The process of planning and creating any new space in your home requires careful planning. Our team of experienced designers will work with you to create a kitchen, bath, dressing room or built in that truly reflects your style.

MEET & GREET
The first step in every Roomscapes design project is to make an appointment to visit our 15,000 square foot Showroom just off Rte 3 South on the Hingham line. A member of our design team will dedicate approximately one hour to meet with you to discuss your project at no charge. During that visit, you are invited to browse our showroom, get ideas from our displays and review the Roomscapes portfolio of projects. This visit is by appointment only so you receive our undivided attention.
Once you have visited our Showroom we will be happy to arrange a visit to your home. This allows us get a sense of the space, home style, architecture and your personal style. During the visit, you fill out a project information survey, which covers everything from how many cooks use the kitchen or how many people share a bathroom to ages of children and color preferences. This information helps the design team begin the conceptual phase of the design process. If your space is part of a new construction project, we can visit the site or meet in our Showroom to review blueprints of the structure and discuss how our design will integrate with the other rooms in your home.
IDEA & CONCEPT
Preliminary Design Study
Our designer will evaluate the existing space or review blueprints if the project is new construction. Then we conduct a preliminary design study. At a subsequent meeting, the designer presents two or more layouts for consideration. The design study provides a clear idea of how we approach the project and gives you the opportunity to provide feedback, ask questions and suggest alterations to the plan. Additionally, we review your selection of appliances and electronics at this time. Next, we draw a composite floor plan that may incorporate various design elements from the initial layouts. At this time, we also formulate a cost analysis of the project to accommodate your budget.
We make one set of revisions to the design if requested and present the revised recommendation at a third meeting. If additional revisions or changes are requested, a retainer fee will be required.
All plans are available for review only in our Showroom. Plans are not released without an applicable deposit.
DESIGN & CREATE
Project Development and Final Drawings
Once a direction for the project is agreed upon, the designer will incorporate your ideas into final drawings that include floor plans, elevations, and mechanicals. These will be used to finalize the design process and provide full specification details of your cabinetry, your appliance selections, colors and finishes of all materials, and to present accurate cost estimates for the entire project.
At the outset of this phase, a 40% deposit of the total estimated cost of the project is required.
BUILD & INSTALL
Custom Order of Materials & Scheduling
After all materials are selected and you have signed your agreement for design services and purchase of materials, the Roomscapes team will schedule your project for delivery. If you choose to use our sister company, Roomscapes Inc., for your installation and/or remodeling, a separate agreement will be prepared.
